Hello!

Today's class Miss Zu proceed with the Grammar again. Yeah since Grammar Test is coming so she try her best to teach us and tell us more about grammar. Yes, she did.

So today it will be the Simple Past Tense and Past Tense Continuous.

The Simple Past Tense is expressed with the past form of the verb and nothing else.

For example ; My grandfather died last year.

The simple past tense refers to action which occurred at a specific time in the past. 

As example ; I ate lunch at noon today , He drove to work yesterday.

Next is Past Tense Continuous.

The Past Continuous Tense is an important tense in English. We use it to say what we were in the middle of doing at a particular moment in the past.

As examples ; What were you doing when you met your best friend? That one is for question.

For a complete sentence ; She was cooking when I telephoned her , We were having dinner when it started to rain.

SPEAKING TEST DAY!

11th of August - Thursday

Hello.

Today's class Miss Zu continue with the training of the Speaking Test. Well, tomorrow is the day!

Miss Zu gives more explanation to us about the test tomorrow, and also she asked one group to make a demonstration. 

So that tomorrow we will not be so shock with the test since everybody understand and knows how to answer the question tomorrow.

This test is about the group discussion. Which is each group contains 4 person per group and everybody needs to talk about their point given and needs to elaborate the point. 

For today, Eza 's group is the lucky one, been selected by Miss Zu for the demonstration. So, they got the topic titled 'How a student can achieve a good result'. They need to discuss about that topic. The way to achieve a good result and what so ever within 3 minutes given after that, they are given 10 minutes to discuss. And lastly, 40 seconds before it ends, everybody needs to conclude their point.

9th of August - Tuesday

Hello Malaysian.

Today's class, Miss Zu told us that the Speaking Test will be held on this Friday.

So, everybody needs to be ready.

The test will be in a group. 4 person per group.

Alright, for today Miss Zu gives us a chance to train ourselves to talk or speaking in front of others.

We're in acting's group which consists of 6 person. Miss Zu asked us to make a forum. 

It will be an academic sessions, so everyone in the group must have their own point based on the topic given.

For my group, the topic were given to us is about the Cleanliness.

So, we need to decide to make a forum about this problem of cleanliness and the awareness to overcome this problem.

After we're had a discussion, we decided to have a "Special Edition Forum" as our tittle for our forum (:

In a group, there must be a host, and our host is Miss Nurul  played by Nurul Farhana.

And the rest will be act as panels.

Alright, this is so happening when everyone of each group put their name as Prof. Madya, Datuk, Dr. Tan Sri. and etc. Haha well panels is it? So, it's kinda of fun but a little bit boring to me. Well, forum which is more to academic.

5th of August - Friday

Hi.

Today's class Miss Zu proceed with the Pre-Test of Listening Test.

Yeah, the day of Listening Test is on Saturday.

So, she don't want us to be shocked when answer the test, so this is just a training part for us.

Thanks to her. Well, she's a lecturer.

And yeah, having the listening part all the time is boring ya know? Seriously.

So, Miss Zu created a game for us, which is one group must have 3 person.

So one of them will represent to be in front and the other two will sit and giving information to the person what is the picture on the LCD and that person need to guess.

Yeah, it's kind of funny. And we didn't feel so boring like before.

After that, we continue with the Pre-Test of Listening Test.

4th of August - Thursday

Hi. Assalamualaikum.

Today is our first class for this fasting month since Miss Zu had cancelled our class on Tuesday.

So today Miss Zu starts with the listening sessions, since the Listening Test will be held on Saturday.

It's kind of fun, but today I can't focus, maybe because of the problem that I had to face today. 

But still, I can answer all the questions based on the text book by listening to the track played by Miss Zu. 

Okay, this listening test actually tell us to be more alert. We need to focus. Plus, this is a "listen" , not a "hear". There's some different between this two words. Which the "listen" it means we need to focus while "hear" it just a hearing. As example, when you're listening to an announcement, you have to focus because there's an information provided to be taken. Another example is when you're listening to a process, yes you also need to focus because it gives us an instruction about a process of doing something.

So, tomorrow is Friday, there will be a Pre-Test for the Listening Test, since the real test is on Saturday.

Alright, I hope I can totally focus tomorrow and also for the Listening Test Day on Saturday.
